Turun Radioamatöörit Ry is a Finnish association devoted for Radioamateur hobby (other radio hobbiers are welcome too) and having members, mostly on South-Finland, but as far as on other continents. We are located in Turku and have three different station setups listed below. We also have a special call sign OH1T which is active time to time.
Activities
The main activities at Turun Radioamatöörit Ry is self-education in radio technics, taking contacts, building antennas, radios and everything related. We also take part to different radio contests. We publish a small magazine couple times of a year and arrange some happenings and presentations.
Stations
OH1AAA is our city place and is the place where we spend the coldest times of the year (autumn to spring). We are active from other stations too, though. At OH1AAA we mostly design and build stuff and do all of the education (radioamateur class).
OH1AA is our main HF station having several masts and antenna setups and is located at the Hirvensalo island. It also has capability for VHF (2, 4 and 6 meters). When we are there, the radios will be on!
OH1AU is our main VHF/UHF and is located on a high hill in Rusko, near Turku airport. Soon getting it’s main powers back, we will be active again, specially on NAC – Nordic Activity Contest.
